Comment | The product of this gene is required for the biogenesis of C-type cytochromes. This gene is thought to have eleven transmembrane helices. Disruption of this gene in Paracoccus denitrificans, encoding a putative transporter, results in formation of an unstable apocytochrome c and deficiency in siderophore production. |
