| Comment | Through in silico analysis, we previously described the PEP-CTERM/exosortase system (PMID:16930487). This model describes the exosortase subtype specific for the VPDSG-CTERM variant (TIGR03778) of PEP-CTERM. Systems are found, so far, in Verrucomicrobiae bacterium DG1235 (twenty) and bacterium Ellin514 (two). This system may coexist with other system variants. |
