Justin Johnson
Bioinformatics Manager

Research Interests and Accomplishments

Justin H. Johnson is a Bioinformatics Manager at the J. Craig Venter Institute (JCVI). Justin's primary responsibility is the development and oversight of bioinformatics pipelines and data services as they relate to the biotechnology core and finishing groups, viral sequencing, the Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation 150 Marine Microbial Genomes Project, the Global Oceans Metagenomics program, and the high throughput analysis/implementation pipelines for shotgun assembly and genome analysis.
