Tuition Reimbursement

The tuition reimbursement plan provides employees with opportunities to develop competencies necessary to meet current and future business needs. Full-time employees participating in the Tuition Assistance Program may receive up to $5,250 in financial assistance per calendar year.

English Development Services

An English Language Skills Program is available at JCVI for employees who are non-native speakers of English. This program is dedicated to assisting non-native English speakers with improving their overall language skills. 

Individual Training

JCVI encourages and supports employees to better themselves by participating in various trainings, seminars, conferences, online tutorials, etc. 

Lunch-N-Learns

Lunch-N-Learns are hour-long session held during lunchtime where speakers from various backgrounds and organizations present information on helpful, informative topics to JCVI employees. It is a relaxed atmosphere and employees are encouraged to bring their lunch.

Toastmasters (Rockville Only)

Toastmasters International is a program designed to help men and women become more comfortable speaking in front of an audience. Toastmasters provide the skills and confidence needed to effectively express yourself in any situation. Meetings are held on site at JCVI for both employees and the public. During these meetings, members practice public speaking and receive feedback in a very informal and friendly atmosphere. Meetings are held semi-monthly.
